Black On Grey

October 27, 2013

All BlackI realized that today marks three months since my Mr. and I tied the knot. Three whole months of marriage under our belt and I’m happy to say that it truly is the best thing ever. Some people have asked me if it feels different. I always thought this was a funny question when I overheard it in the past, until I got married myself. The truth is, it does in the most subtle and sweet way. For starters it feels like we’re a team. We share a name and people refer to us now as “the Wennerstroms”, which still makes me smile every time I hear it. There’s also an immense amount of respect that comes with calling someone your husband or wife. And lastly a new found spot in your heart that you never knew existed that leaves you giddy with happiness.

Side note: Be sure to check out this thermal top from Free People styled by some of my fellow blogger pals In Honor of Design, Happily Grey, The Daybook, Dallas Shaw, Barefoot Blonde, Kelli Murray, Color Me Nana, Promise Tangeman and Charcoal Alley. We’re all part of a collaboration with Free People to show the many ways you can wear thermal finds for fall. I loved this top because of the sleeve detail. Since thermals are meant to be layered, letting that part show and peek through a blazer or sweater adds a fun touch to a look.
