Fall Florals

October 17, 2013

FallFloralsThere’s no better way to get into the season than dressing up your home a bit. I looked around our living room yesterday and realized how boring we were being given the fact that Halloween is just around the corner. Since I’m not quite ready for pumpkins and skulls, I decided to go with some fall florals to ease into the festivities. After making a quick stop at my local flower shop I was immediately drawn to a bucket full of droopy (slightly eerie) looking strands called Amaranthus. Even the name reminded me of a spider. From there I chose a complimenting shade of Mums and decided to leave the rest up to what I found around my house. A Quick tip, I started using a vintage glass ice bucket for flowers and it’s the perfect size for smallish arrangements, plus they’re always petite and pretty.
