When it comes to bold prints I always proceed with caution. But every once in a while I surprise myself by falling in love with something that’s so outside my norm. That was the case when I spotted these Mother denim jeans that instantly brought out my wild side. I pictured them with a cozy over sized sweater or coat and knew they would be a fun way of brightening up otherwise gloomy fall and winter days. That’s the thing about bold prints. The right ones, the ones that are meant to find a spot in your closet, will grab your attention like love at first sight. Which is why my motto when buying them is to trust your gut and your wild side.

A little tip, if you’re in the market for booties, I just picked up this pair from Ash and have been wearing them non-stop. They’ve got a slight cowboy flare to them while still being sleek and modern. And the pointed toe gives the illusion of longer legs, which is always a perk.
