For a few months now I’ve been pouring extra attention into our home. I’ve always intended to make it a special living space but things (time, a wedding, budget, vacation) always seemed to pull me away from being devoted to it. Now that we have our ducks in a row and the year of the wedding is behind us, I’ve become consumed with making plans and finding the perfect pieces. One thing that’s been aiding my home design quest is a little thing called Polyvore. Using their resources and tools I’ve been able to visualize my ideas, find things I’ve been dreaming up and create mini mood boards for different rooms. It’s made the whole process ten times easier and fun.

Since I’m such a fan, I teamed up with Polyvore on a contest series they call Project Decorate. I pick a theme, a handful of favorite finds and you guys create your own mood board to fit the theme—I chose seaside glamour! I’ll pick my favorite and the winner gets a $500 gift card to West Elm.
