Breakfast In BedHave you ever stayed at a hotel and left thinking – that was the best sleep I’ve ever had. While we were on our honeymoon I couldn’t get over how comfortable the beds were at the Four Seasons Seychelles. Of course the insanely beautiful “nothing-but-ocean” view from the bed wasn’t too bad either, but I literally melted into the sheets every night. After we got home I tossed and turned in our own bed, which usually appeals to me as my most comfortable place to catch some z’s. A new mattress (as comfortable as the Four Seasons) was added to my home sweet home wish list.

Fast forward a handful of months and I received an invitation to come experience the newly renovated rooms at the Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara—twist my arm! But the best part was getting to test out their fancy new beds which offer a customizable sleep experience. You can choose from three options: signature, signature firm and signature plush that can be switched out in minutes. And for all you hot sleepers out there (like myself) it has special technology to absorb heat throughout your slumber. And if you fall in love with it as much as I did, you can buy it through the resort—a little slice of vacation at home. Now if only breakfast in bed came with it every morning.Breakfast in BedBreakfast in Bed{ Wide brim Old Navy sun hat hanging. }

This mini vacation prompted a serious craving for summery sleepwear. Some favorites I’m currently mulling over, except this Donna Karan night dress which I bought at first sight.

The Mandarin Oriental in Las Vegas- it’s so quiet and blocks out of the madness of the strip and you feel at zen- it’s really quite perfect!
