When I was younger I had a tendency to get my paws on my sister’s jewelry box when she wasn’t around. She kept her collection of bangles, friendship bracelets and rings in a giant wooden box that I could always sniff out no matter where she hid it. Not much has changed, I still have a fixation with jewelry and am constantly on the hunt for new designers and styles. My latest discovery has been Tara Hirshberg, an art dealer-turned-jewelry designer. I had the chance to borrow some of her pieces and style them for a few weeks and I can say this much, I’m severely missing the extra sparkle—something her creations do a stellar job at. Her line is made up of universal symbols that can hold a different meaning to the wearer.
