Gray MattersA couple of things dawned on me yesterday. The first, I’m ready for fall. Bring on the layers, muted colors, No. 2 pencils (I still buy them for fun each September), crisp autumn temperatures, black basics, boots and more. I’ve already started inching my way towards fall-like ensembles and looking forward to the end of the day when the air seems to cool off drastically. The second thing I realized, the beginning of fall means I’m that much closer to meeting our little one. Every time my mind goes down that path I get a tidal wave of emotions—excitement, nervousness and slight panic over all the things we need to do. This week we’re starting to put together the nursery and I can’t wait to feel semi-prepared now that I’m in my third trimester.

I’m not quite ready for fall, but I am ready to “meet” your little one! I can’t imagine the amount of work that must be done ahead of time. Fortunately babies are pretty stationary right away, so you’ll have time even after you give birth.

You make pregnant look so good! I’ve been there twice so I know the challenge of dressing a growing baby bump.
