Endless

September 15, 2014

Could I Have ThatA girl gets to complain from time to time, right? I nearly shocked myself the other day when I said I was officially o-v-e-r the endless (hot) summer we’ve been having. I’m a sun worshipper and consider warm temps my cup of tea but lately things have changed my mood a bit. The first, and most obvious, the fact that I’m 32 weeks pregnant. I finally get what all those mamas were saying about heat and a belly being an undesirable match. But the second is thanks to some new fall wardrobe finds that I’ve been itching to pull out and wear. This Theory jacket with leather sleeves falls into that category. I spotted it at Nordstrom and snagged it up in a heart beat, knowing it would be a perfect pre and post belly favorite. I slipped it on for a cooler, foggy morning last week, and could already tell it was going to be one of those fall essentials.

Theory is one of those brands that I return to repeatedly for basic and timeless favorites. In fact I still have some from years ago that I can’t bring myself to part with, they’re that good. Aside from my latest find, I have my eye on some other favorites for fall: a cozy camel peacoat (a wardrobe staple I mention here), this silk subtle print blouse and a statement wool coat.
