Sheer Truth

October 27, 2014

Sheer ThingLately I’ve become more and more convinced that being creative is what personal style is all about. It doesn’t mean having the most coveted handbag or a wardrobe filled with designer labels—although sometimes you can’t deny the beauty of something that’s impeccably made and crafted. I’ve learned more about this in the last 9 months than ever before. Digging deep into the closet and pulling out a forgotten favorite can re-inspire a new look and make you think beyond trends. Lately I’ve been relying on summer pieces layered together since technically it’s still pretty warm during the day here in California. This Parker dress (also seen here) has been a go-to base piece and miraculously fits with my bump. I love the sheer layer trim that adds a fluid effect under blouses and sweaters.

Zimmermann blouse, Parker dress (similar), Jennifer Fisher bone cuff, Zoe Chicco cuff, Alexis Russell bangles, Carrie Hoffman stacked rings, Page Sargisson ring, Chanel Slides (similar).

Some other white layers to covet…
