Spring TrenchWhen considering all things timeless that should be hanging in your closet, the trench falls in the top five. Holly Golightly knew it, Robert Redford was born to wear one and Bridgette Bardot made it sexy. And I’m not going to lie, its one of those pieces that you instantly feel transformed when you slip one on. This one from Ashley B has been reminding me how much I love the classic number. It moves in the breeze making it all too perfect for a windy Spring day.

Ashley B trench coat (similar), Alexander Wang dress (similar), Tibi mules (similar), Jennifer Fisher Elin cuff, Zoe Chicco black diamond cuff, Prismera U necklace, Mociun necklace and Bianca Gomez ring from Whistle Club.

I agree with you that you can’t go wrong adding a trench to your wardrobe. And I especially love how there are so many light-weight versions available now. Not only are they good for spring weather around the country, they’re good for regions like Southern California (where I live) where we have very little weather variance, and don’t need the extra warmth but still want the style and layering options this piece provides. Very cute spring outfit here.

Well isn’t this the most beautiful drapey trench ever! And I know a trench is a staple wardrobe piece, but somehow I still don’t own one!

I love the color of your trench! I had seen one at club monaco a few weeks ago that was very similar that I can’t stop thinking about … I think this is a sign I need to go back and get it ha!
