With Mother’s Day just a few days away I swung by The Grove yesterday to pick up something sweet for a few important mamas in my life—including moi! Since I didn’t have Elin with me it felt like a mini treat in itself to spend an afternoon shopping, although I did race home because I missed her so much. I stopped by all of my favorites—Barney’s New York, Vince, J.Crew, Anthropologie, Nordstrom and Apple—and managed to find something special for everyone. Here’s a mini guide to some gifts that will most definitely make a mama feel good.

Hudson jeans, J.Crew sandals, Heidi Merrick coat, Saint Laurent Betty bag and aviators, Alexander Wang tee, Jennifer Fisher cuff, Kendall Conrad cross chain bracelet. 
Barney’s is usually my first stop when I arrive at The Grove, and sometimes my last as I end up spending so much time there, but it also happens to be one of my mom’s favorites. Sunglasses are always a hit with her so I picked out a frame that I knew she would be excited about. 
I may have bought myself a new pair of Celine sunnies… guilty.
I found a handful of leather pouches that always make a great gift for a new mom. I end up switching bags so often that its nice to keep all the essentials in a pouch that i just transfer from bag to bag. It also lends itself to put another gift inside! I grabbed some Rodin body oil and Byredo perfume for friend. While shopping a fellow mom stopped me to ask where I got my sandals—J.Crew! Which made me realize how great of a gift they would be. So I picked up a couple pairs for some friends. Another favorite stop is Vince. Cashmere sweaters and loose dresses are a mama’s best friend.I have had my eye on the new Apple watch so I paid a visit to the store to try one on for feel. I have yet to pull the trigger but it might be my top Mother’s Day pick—that and just about anything from Apple!Lastly I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love a Sprinkles cupcake.
