Cut Out

Could I Have That

Its the middle of summer which makes me utterly happy yet a teensy bit melancholy knowing that my favorite season is coming to a close sooner than later. It also lights a fire underneath me to do (and wear) all the things I love on a carefree summer day. At the top of the list is wearing all white. Not that I don’t wear a monochromatic crisp look the rest of the year but something about it in the height of July is too good.

We celebrated our two-year anniversary the other day so I decided it was the perfect opportunity to pull off an all-white get-up for dinner out at a favorite spot—San Ysidro Ranch. I balanced the simple pieces with a pair of statement black heels from the QVC Marc Fisher collection, which by the way is filled with classic essentials for a really great price. Marc Fisher has been the brains behind a lot of amazing designer collections and this one touches on the casual-luxe look he does so well. Easy booties, simple sandals, pumps (like my cool suede cut-out ones), flats and gladiator style sandals that seem to go with just about any summer dress. The cherry on top of the easy price tag is the comfort level. While I love a good pump there’s nothing worse than hobbling home like a wounded animal. This particular pair felt like I was walking on a cloud—comfort is everything at the end of a night. Another little tip about these heels, the diamond shaped design in front elongates your leg. Something I always look for in a pump.

QVC Marc Fisher heels, Paige jeans, Nili Lotan sweater, Celine bag, Saint Laurent sunglasses, Jennifer Fisher cuff, Ariel Gordon rings.
