One perk to the summer season is the easy wardrobe planning that comes with a sunshine and blue skies kind of day. All you really need is a bikini, a cover up, maybe a hat, sunnies and an extra layer should the party last longer than daylight. And if you’re slightly disheveled looking you can dismiss it as beach waves and a summer glow or rely on some preppy stripes to add a dose of sophistication. This little number I picked up at Anthropologie and somehow because of the tailoring it feels a bit more pulled together than I usually am on a sweltering summer day. It recently took my sunscreen coated limbs from brunch to the beach followed by napping with my baby girl and a sushi dinner. Needless to say, it was a perfect day.
