The start of September marks my favorite time of year, also known as the Indian Summer in my neck of the woods. September, and if we’re lucky most of October, are some of the best sunny days. Not too hot, not too cold. And they’re the kind of days that beg for a beach bonfire or an evening ocean swim. Warm water, early sunsets that have the most vibrant colors and lingering heat at the end of the day are reason enough to call this the best time of the year. This dress has Indian Summer written all over it.
