Now that Spring is in full swing I thought I would share a few things I’ve been finding myself consistently reaching for. The overall theme seems to be this: country club meets 70’s rocker. Sophisticated stripes with a vintage feel, fringed denim, oversized oxford button downs, über stark white tennis shoes, bohemian dresses, lace up sandals, embroidered tops, crocheted maxi dresses and light washed denim. I swung by Nordstrom the other day and came home with a handful of Equipment tops, which by the way is a great place to start if you’re wardrobe hits a wall. I find that a simple style in a new pattern or color can quickly open new doors. This one has been a favorite because of the fitted shape, soft knit and the elongated short sleeves. I also love that it looks just like a shirt my brother used to wear back in the 80’s.
