I’ve been living in my dungarees this summer. So much so I’ve done a little overhaul in my wardrobe to make room for some new favorites. The theme? Roomy with a touch of flare or straight leg. The more breathing room the better, step aside skinny jeans. Since crossing over into dramatic denim territory I’ve discovered some benefits to the free-form shape. For starters, a cropped flare lends itself to a great pair of heels, sandals or even boots—there really is no limitation since it’s a wide leg, win win. And for someone like myself with little curves it’s a clever way of introducing a little “body” to your figure. Lastly, that touch of frayed edges that we’re all loving at the moment gets a shining moment when shown off on a pair of cropped jeans. I’ve rounded up some of my favorites below.
