Between visiting Lake Tahoe and Ojai this summer, I’ve become a huge fan of ponchos. Both spots cool off quickly in the evenings and having something cozy, thick and oversized was a ideal to throw on for dinner, sitting on our deck in the cool mornings or any sunset adventures. For days that we lasted far too long at the beach I’d throw it on over my swimsuit even to stay warm as the temperatures dropped. There’s something undeniably easy, comfortable and cool about ponchos that grants them year-round admission to every season. After loading up on a few I found over at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (like this Rag & Bone one) I have plans to wear them with jeans and just about every boot I own this fall for a bohemian indian summer vibe.
