I don’t think there’s a single thing that Ulla Johnson has designed that I wouldn’t wear. I could literally scoop up just about every piece she’s created and without fail feel like the best version of myself wearing them. I’ve missed her presentation in New York by a day, twice now, so I jumped at the chance to hop in my car and swing by an event she recently had in L.A. to celebrate her Spring 2017 collection. I got to preview the looks, meet Ulla herself and wear this pretty dress (also in white here), which I collected loads of compliments in that day—but really I’ve never gotten so many! It left me feeling the need for more shades of bordeaux.
Side note: I made a pit stop at Barneys New York in this dress and almost bought these Aquazzura heels because they looked so good with the dress. It was as if they were made to go together, on point with color, ruffles velvet and all. Let me tell you it was hard to walk away but I saved the pennies for our upcoming trip.
