Indian Summer

October 3, 2016

ciht_7-30-16_079Last week was quite possibly the hottest few days we’ve had all year. Even after the sun went down the heat lingered well into the night, which felt more like Palm Springs than our quaint beach town. There wasn’t much to do as far as cooling down unless you were at the beach. So, twist our arms, we went almost every afternoon to splash around and soak in our Indian Summer.

In other news, we’re gearing up for another exciting trip. Hint, these Mott 50 rash guards are the first thing I’ll be packing. We wore them all through the summer and I love how they’re still stylish yet completely practical/smart for a long day in the sun—UPF 50 for ultimate protection from the sun.

On me: Sonja swim dress, Gladys Tamez hat. On Elin: Mini Cameron Rash Guard, Marysia swim bottoms.

It’s modern, minimal yet fits our casual beach lifestyle. I love that all of the pieces can take him straight from the beach to dinner with a level of sophistication. Confession, I might sleep in one of his shirts (a lot) because its that cozy soft. ciht_7-30-16_096indian-summer-could-i-have-thatciht_7-30-16_073ciht_7-30-16_104Photography by Arna Bee
