At Home In Hatch

July 6, 2017

Motherhood is pure chaos at times—don’t let these pictures fool you. While it is a total juggle there are moments that force you to slow down, way down, and just read a book. For us this is usually at the end of the day. Cell phones are put away and Elin gets our undivided attention. We read, lounge outside or play the current favorite hide-and-go-seek, water the plants, wait for daddy to pull up and cook dinner together. It’s the best, especially during the warm Summer evenings.

Aside from cracking open a bottle of wine, I love slipping into something casual and comfortable. Lately it’s been this caftan from Hatch that isn’t too precious to sit on the ground and could literally take me anywhere during the summer months. I love how roomy and long it is yet still breaths on a hot day, also perfect if you’re cooking over a hot stove. Its one of those pieces you suddenly want/need in every color available—and yes it comes in two other shades. Not to mention if you’re pregnant, just had a baby, or consumed a really big burrito, it’s perfect for those in-between stages when you’re growing or shrinking.

This one you’ll live in, trust me. Be sure to check out more of the latest Plage Summer 2017 collection from Hatch.
