During the summer months I find myself easily motivated to squeeze in a work out here and there. I’m not a fan of hitting the gym, so I always opt for a walk/run around my neighborhood followed by some exercises at the Mission Rose Gardens—not a bad spot for a sit up! And since some of you have inquired about how I stay in shape I thought I’d share a few simple routines I follow in combination with weekly walks.
Old Navy tank and bra, Lulu Lemon pants (similar), Nike shoes, Super x Intermix sunglasses. 5 minutes of jumping jacks after a 20 min walk.
15 minutes of lunges to keep the buns in shape.
Side note: I’m totally obsessed with these sports bras from Old Navy that come in tons of colors.
15 minutes of sprinting (Ok, I may slack a lot on this one most of the time, shh!).
Wall squats, holding at the bottom for as long as I can handle.
And lastly, 20 minutes of stretching.
