Getaway Dress

One of my best friends got married in April and for the big exit at the end of the night, she switched into a short lace dress as her “getaway dress”. I thought it was the sweetest nod to an old tradition that you don’t often see today. My mom is the only other person that I know who changed at the end of her wedding (nearly 40 years ago). When I asked her about it, she mentioned that’s what everyone did! I saw this short and sweet number and immediately fantasized about wearing it as a getaway dress.
