 After getting married, entertaining friends and family and escaping to a three-week long honeymoon in Africa (a full recap coming next week!), one thing on the horizon that we couldn’t wait to enjoy was a regular old date night at home as a married couple. So, one of the first outings upon returning back home from Africa was slip out for a quick bite and our first official “date night” together as a Mr. and Mrs. When it comes to hitting our favorite local joints (which usually involves flatbread pizza, wine and ice cream) comfortable denim is always a winning choice. Slightly stretchy always goes far for me since my eyes are notoriously bigger than my stomach and this pair from Old Navy fits all of my denim criteria. Plus, I’m completely in love with zippers on the sides for a slightly flared (yet still skinny) leg. The only problem? It was a quick dinner, a horrible case of jet lag set in.
