Traveling halfway across the world to an unknown place leaves much to the imagination. The months leading up to our trip I fantasized about what it would be like. Having been to Kruger Park as a 5 year old with my family there were faint memories of the experience but nothing concrete. When World Odyssey first recommended we stay at Chitwa Chitwa I immediately fell in love with it by just glancing at the website. But after arriving and spending 5 days there I can easily say it well exceeded my expectations by a long shot. The best surprise was getting to watch animals just feet away while lounging around our room and private deck, which was a usual midday routine.
