Island Roaming {Denis Island}

Roaming around Denis Island was one of our favorite things to do during the afternoon hours. It only took about an hour and a half to walk around the entire island on the beach, which was a frequent activity. We’d start at our villa and end at the main lodge for a cold cocktail and a round of gin rummy. On our walks we discovered small findings and sometimes never saw a single soul. It felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. IMG_6965{ Coral pieces and sea glass beads in the main lodge collected from the island. }IMG_6491{ An ideal spot for snorkeling and the presumed place where French explorer Denis de Trobriand came ashore in 1773. }IMG_6558{ Apolis swim trunks my husband lived in. } findings{ A purple lobster and a cotton plant found on one of our walks. }IMG_6300{ Flowers displayed on our towels everyday when we came home. }IMG_6527{ A favorite beach that looked like a painting. }IMG_6592{ Gave these K.Jacques sandals a good run, in and out of the water.
