Cynthia Rowley has been a longtime favorite of mine. So when I got the invite to see her Spring/Summer 14 collection I jumped at the opportunity to go. We entered into an old brick building called the High Line Hotel where colorful streamers and party garlands decked a giant rectangular shaped room. A stylish crowd filled the room shoulder to shoulder to view an array of light, dark, and tropical prints embodying a (slightly vintage) vacation vibe. It was just what I hoped to see from the designer that stole my heart when she sent a mobile pop up (truck) shop across the country—see here when it stopped in my neighborhood. Naturally I saw a handful of pieces I wanted to get my hands on right away (could i have that?) and left me antsy for the Spring season already.
