Wedding Gown Shopping Tips

Last week I accompanied one of my closest friends to the final fitting for her wedding gown. I was honored to be a part of the champagne popping event but even more flattered that she trusted my eye and opinion when it came to the finishing touches. After just being a bride myself I knew how important the role was so I made sure to be supportive with sound advice.

Choosing “the dress” was by far one of my favorite parts of planning a wedding. And I’ll admit, as sappy as this may sound, it was also the sweetest and most emotional moments of all the prepping. There’s something undeniably surreal when you slip on a wedding gown for the first time and see your reflection in the mirror. A wave of excitement hits you from head to toe and a flurry of champagne toasting and tears quickly ensue. With all the excitement surrounding you it’s easy to get overwhelmed or feel confused by multiple opinions or a boozy bridal brain.

While my experience is fresh on my mind here are ten {candid} tips for bridal gown shopping plus my picks from the Nordstrom Wedding Suite, a spot I highly recommend visiting.
