Bits and Tips

Jonathan Adler– A Jonathan Adler letter pillow currently complimenting our white bedding. –

For too long I was a chicken running around with my head cut off. Juggling a part-time job, planning a wedding and keeping Could I Have That going was a non-stop seven days a week schedule. I’ve always thought being busy was a good thing, but I was taking it to the next level. It wasn’t until we jetted off on our honeymoon and found ourselves on an island with no internet connection, no cell service and no T.V. that I realized it was time to live a more sane life. Detaching from the rest of the world is an interesting thing. You get the most incredible perspective on everything when you’re not in it. I’ve since made steps to organize my life (we even cleaned our garage, a huge feat) and manage my time better while being realistic about what I take on. From the beginning I’ve always been the most inspired by the little things in life that bring so much joy to a regular old day. Life got so busy that I forget to stop and enjoy those simple pleasures, so while living a less chaotic life, I’ll be staying true to my bits and tips every week as a way of keeping tabs on myself. Gold Jewelry– A BaubleBar necklace and Jennifer Fisher “wifey” cuff (similar) currently on rotation. –Express Studded Pumps– My latest bargain find, studded heels from Express. – Moroccan Lemon Preserve– Moroccan Lemon Preserves I made at a recent Kinfolk gathering. –J.Crew Vintage Pajama SetJ.Crew pajamas I’ve been loving. Contemplating picking up this nightshirt from them too since it’s on sale! – Milly Delano Clutch– Hands down one of the coolest clutches I’ve ever owned, thanks to Milly. –
