Don’t laugh, but I actually have a few essentials in my closet that I reserve for big meal nights. You know, that amazing Italian restaurant that leaves you at least a waist size larger? Or the spot that serves homemade bread that quickly morphs into a muffin top over your skinny jeans. Sometimes it’s a crime not to indulge in such goodness. For those times I rely on billowy favorites with plenty of give. Thanksgiving is the mother of all big meal nights. My eyes are notoriously bigger than my stomach. Between the sweet potatoes, stuffing and dessert it’s impossible to not go back for seconds, even thirds. This year I plan on wearing this dress, which is equally sophisticated as it is comfortable. And it lends itself to these stunning ivy printed heels.
