When it comes to drastic beauty changes, I proceed with caution. Especially when it comes to my hair. It’s been over ten years since I’ve cut more than 4 inches off, my locks have never been dyed and I typically stick to the same layered cut. I’m quite the opposite of that friend who dyes her hair pink for the weekend. However there are times when I get antsy to do something crazy and I start gathering different photos of hair colors or fun bangs. But in the end I always chicken out and weigh my options to logically—”low maintenance” in the pro column always wins. My last two visits to the hair salon I got the urge to go a little bit shorter than usual. Usually my husband can hardly notice after I get a cut, but this time he responded with “wow” and a look that confirmed he approved.
