I always joke that I was born in the wrong era. Some of my favorite bands and tunes came alive during the 60’s 70’s and I’m fascinated by just about anything and anyone who had a shining moment during the decades. Bianca Jagger, Jane Birkin and Ali Macgraw are some of my favorites that I still resort back to for inspiration. And since my teen years I have had a serious Rolling Stones obsession. While so much has changed since those epic years, the style and love for celebrating music seems to live on.

With so many music festivals popping up all over the globe it’s hard not to miss one. I swung by Old Navy before hitting the road for this weekend’s Coachella shenanigans and picked up two essentials I knew would be key: a breezy eyelet dress and a denim vest. Both finds will easily be on repeat well into the fall.
