Growing up I remember begging my parents to put in a pool at our house. In my crowd we either hit the pool or the beach during the summer months and spent the entire day there. It was the ultimate perk when we had one all to ourselves. I never convinced my parents to take the plunge so I’ve remained a pool groupie since, until recently. Thanks to a mere miracle we scored a membership to a popular club in our area (drumroll) that has a pool friends. It’s a short 5 minutes away from our house and I’ve been relishing every moment of our new home away from home. I plan on becoming an avid swimmer this month and maybe even pick up tennis—I mean the cute outfits alone could motivate a girl like me.
