Swept in Jenni Kayne

It’s been almost thirteen years to the day that I met my husband. Looking back we were babies at the time and hardly knew ourselves let alone each other. I laugh just thinking about the person I was, the things I wore and what little I knew about what the next decade would bring. That night I don’t think I thought about anything else but his eyes and smile. Naturally, being the girl I remember exactly what I was wearing (and what he was wearing) the night we met. Me: a denim skirt (you know the ones that were jeans sewn to be a skirt?), a Juicy Couture top and a sweatshirt. Todd: jeans and a Santa Cruz sweatshirt. I should mention we were at the beach, so there was that factor but I’m happy to say my wardrobe choices have definitely evolved over the years, and of course so have we.
