After spending a few days in LA and living out of my weekend bag, I realized a few things. First, packing light is and will never be my forte. I tried limiting myself to the tiniest overnight bag for the mere reason of conveniency and ended up struggling each day to get dressed. However I did come away with one tip, actually two, for slimming down on baggage particularly for spring/summer months. The first is never leave home without a leather jacket. An obvious choice but really, honestly I relied on mine this past week and it always adds that perfect amount of edge to every look. Second, a simple ivory or white sundress. It’s the season’s staple if you ask me and can usually take you from day to night pretty easily.
