Since the summer began I’ve been all about white. White shoes, flowy dresses, crisp white blouses and the list goes one. But recently something inspired me to go dark. With a remodel going on at home (getting a new kitchen!) I’ve been purging while trying to stay organized through the chaos. I came across a stack of old magazines that I briefly flipped through before tossing. I found a favorite editorial set on a white sand beach filled with slick black beachwear and a model who had a tight long ponytail. It stuck in my head the rest of the week and all I could think about was finding black swim pieces with an edge. While browsing Old Navy I found this loose knit piece that looked almost identical to something from my ripped out editorial. I knew it immediately needed to come home with me and in my suitcase for Hawaii next week.
