Elin turned six months recently and I have to say that time has never flown by so fast in my life before. Todd and I are completely obsessed with every little move, face and noise she makes and are trying our hardest to not capture every sweet moment on camera. Although the other night we were like 10-year-olds with game boys after the lights went out, comparing Elin videos and pictures on our phones and having too much fun—like I said, obsessed. Life still seems chaotic at moments, especially when in the midst of a busy work week, but I’m learning that planning ahead really does make an impact.
Some updates on baby girl (p.s. these shots are a little old she was 4 months when they were taken)…she still sleeps 12 hours a night and naps 2 (sometimes 3) times a day, which I fully credit the tips and advice from our friend Tiffany of Eat Play Sleep, who I highly recommend for any sleep deprived parents…
She’s rolling and wiggling her way to toys (no crawling yet)… sits up but not for too long before making her way to her tummy…
Loves finding the tags on everything and playing with them… thinks its hilarious when mom dances like a crazy person…
Loves rice cereal and peas… and sounds like she’s yelling “hey” at us when we’re not paying attention to her—it’s hilarious find me on snapchat to see it in action @couldihavethat.

Since we’re just getting into solids I’ve found these two books to be the most helpful… The Best Homemade Baby Food on the Planet and Top 100 Baby Purees…
Elin loves reading books, its the sweetest thing… these finger puppet books are her favorite.
