Palette Perfection

Buxom Eyeshadow BarEvery once in a while I get the chance to sit in a makeup artist’s chair and pepper them with beauty questions. What kind of products they love, they’re top five tips and always (always!) asking what shades and colors they’re using on me because most times I end up loving it and buying it. As I’ve learned from the pros, finding the right shade in any makeup product is key to a flawless look. For me that means neutral browns and rusty tones. My latest palette I’ve been reaching for has been Buxom’s customizable Eyeshadow Bar, which you can choose from 40 different colors to slide into a compact that holds 6 shades—smart and convenient. I picked mine to hold every essential color for soft daytime looks to sultry smokey eyes for a date night.

Buxom Eyeshadow BarMy six shades, which are one of the three pre-made compacts—this one is called May Contain Nudity. It has all the greatest neutrals you could want. Even the slightly shimmery nude/gold I dab on the tops of my lid (a tip from a makeup artist) which instantly makes my eyes look wider and bigger.
