I’ve always argued, contrary to popular belief, that green is not always a redhead’s best friend. What is it with people wanting to put bold emeralds on gingers? I’ve never felt right in the shade and insisted that it wasn’t my color. Turns out I’m wrong, or at least there’s an exception to my stubborn outlook on the color and it’s called… Mint. I’ve discovered that I love a cool, icy shade of green and it loves me right back. I came across this Bernardo coat and was immediately drawn to the shape and high collar. I must have had my blinders on because it didn’t even dawn on me that it was a faded minty shade. The moment I slipped it on I knew that I’d be biting my tongue when it came to the topic of greens and redheads. I got more compliments the day I wore this coat than any other in a long time. And it’s just about one of the prettiest pieces hanging in my wardrobe at the moment.
