Sunday Kind Of Love

November 10, 2015

Sunday-LoveI used to love Sundays because it meant sleeping in, getting brunch and napping post mimosas. Nowadays, with a toddler running around, Sundays have taken on a new kind of rhythm. While it still acts as the most relaxed day of the week, and by far my favorite, to me Sundays are about soaking in some of the sweetest moments with my two favorite people. Everything else just melts away. We purposefully leave the day open ended and reserved for whatever we wake up wanting to do. My style/beauty approach for such a carefree agenda usually goes something like this.

I’m usually riding on whatever waves my hair has from Saturday night so most of the time I end up sprucing up a few pieces in the front. Then I shake my hair out upside down, tousling the roots a little at the same time to get some volume back and use Nexxus New York Salon Care Comb Thru Finishing Mist, which gives a light hold all day—one of my favorite products at the moment! Then its on to breakfast, morning cuddles with Elin or sometimes the Farmer’s Market.

When I have the energy I love inviting friends over and cooking up something amazing. I usually throw on a pair of jeans, sneakers and head to our local farmer’s market for some fresh produce.Nexxus-CIHT2Sunday-kind-of-love-could-i-have-that-2Our sleepy little beach town has some of the best home and vintage stores. I always make it a point to do a little window shopping after hitting the farmer’s market. Nexxus-CIHTSince my hair tends to get dry and frizzy, especially in the fall and winter months, I rely on Nexxus New York Salon Care Nourishing Hair Oil to smooth and prolong my hair style. It instantly gives my mane a healthy weight so I always toss it in my bag for a midday pick-me-up.

A little tip, before putting my hair into a bun for hot yoga I coat my it (middle to ends) with Nexxus New York Hair Salon Nourishing Hair Oil. After the class I have super soft and healthy strands.
