white overalls

This last weekend was Fiesta in Santa Barbara (see past highlights here and here). It’s a crazy festival that takes over the town every year and leaves a tornado of confetti in its trail. In fact we’ll still be finding confetti in odd places months from now. We put on our brightest colors, wear sombreros and drink a little too much. It’s a blast but afterwards I need a day of rest, a healthy juice cleanse and something subdued and quiet to wear. I managed to drag myself out of bed yesterday (nothing short of a miracle) and reached for white overalls with a feminine blouse, which was just what my Fiesta hangover needed.
