Minimal Fall Patterns

September 7, 2016

hm-stripes-could-i-have-thatEven though the weather may not feel quite Fall-ish yet, changing the calendar to September always sets my wheels in motion for the new season. All of a sudden I felt giddy over the fact that cooler days and the holidays are actually not that far away. Layers, chunky sweaters, cozy cooking, fireside nights and the sound of rain pounding on the roof literally sends a wave of excitement through my soul and just like that I’m whole heartedly ready for the change.

I made a few additions to my wardrobe lately and realized I was on to my own trend: minimal fall patterns. Almost every piece I was gravitating towards was either a stripe or a vintage print with faded/earthy tones. For a girl who rarely steps too far into the pattern pond, this is definitely a new thing. So I rounded up some of my current favorites that I wouldn’t mind scooping up for the coming months.
