Holiday Cheer(s)

One thing I really love about the holidays is having an excuse to get together with friends. Last year we opted to hand deliver some of our Christmas cards to friends, along with a sweet treat. Each week we’d connect with a few families and it felt like the simplest way to enjoy the festive month and see our closest friends in a casual and spontaneous way — just our speed.

This year we’re taking the same approach to celebrate the season. We took advantage of the personalization options from Shutterfly to create our gifts, which revolve around one of my favorite cozy winter drinks — the Hot Toddy. Aside from the endless design options for holiday cards, Shutterfly has some pretty awesome gifts that you can customize to make it that much more thoughtful. From tote bags and kitchen accessories to home essentials and photo books, the options are endless and easily tailored to your aesthetic. To share my love for the Hot Toddy this year, we were able to design custom mugs – perfectly aligned with my minimalistic style — which included the recipe for my favorite Holiday Hot Apple Toddy (recipe found here). A couple of our closest family friends recently finished a big renovation on their home, so I put together an extra special package just for them as both a holiday and a house-warming present. We wrapped up a couple of the custom Hot Toddy mugs, along with a monogramed artisan inspired cutting board, the special cocktail ingredients, and packaged them in a personalized canvas tote bag. The goal was to give classic, stylish, and personalized gifts that can be used well past the holidays and fit into an everyday routine. Looking forward to spreading this personalized holiday cheer(s)!
