We finally got some rain in these parts—hallelujah. It wasn’t much but getting cozy by the fire and falling asleep to the sound of it hitting the roof was all it took for me to fully embrace the cold weather. And yes I realize our California “cold” isn’t really that cold but its been frigid enough that layers and/or a coat (gasp!) have been oh so necessary. In my world 50 degrees means you need a great pair of boots and the chunkiest knit you can get your hands on. I’ve been living in these knee-high boots lately and finding all kinds of fun ways to wear them—over leather pants at night, a knit dress during the day, boyfriend sweaters and jeans with a wide brim hat. This pair has a small heel making my legs feel über long, which makes me love them even more.
Jeans, knee-high boots, sweater (similar), bag and hat.
