Searched and found, high top sneakers with a touch of sparkle.

While we were traveling in New Zealand, the chicest French couple checked into our hotel. They were young, beautiful and utterly cool. Everyday I’d wait to see what this girl would wear because it was always on point. Out of her handful of outfits I took notes on was a pair of high top sneakers doused in glitter, which normally wouldn’t really be my thing. But the way she had them styled with a green military jacket, straight leg jeans and a basic white tee had me coveting a pair myself. It was just enough playfulness with an otherwise edited look. I got to searching for a similar pair (I never had the chance to ask where she got hers, still kicking myself) and after coming up empty handed I decided all I needed was a classic high top pair of chucks. And then I went to Barneys…

While attempting to buy something on sale, I found these puppies from Golden Goose. I slipped them on and new they had been exactly what I was looking for. Mission complete.
