There’s something to be said about three-day weekends. You get a little bit more sleep, spoil yourself with a good meal, hit up a yoga class and actually have time to do your laundry or in other cases (ahem) shop. After a lengthy brunch we mosied over to one of my favorites stores in Santa Barbara, Diani Boutique. Like most visits, I took a pile of favorites into the dressing room. What I walked away with was something unexpected, I took the plunge on a trend that I never gave much thought to before—a high neck collared blouse. Turns out it’s the perfect amount of coverage for a cooler winter day and is the perfect touch of sophistication for a worn-in pair of jeans. I wore this look for errands and transformed it for a dinner out with heels.
