Maybe its my beachy California roots but I love (love, love, love) most things that have a sun faded, weathered look to them. The more hours a beach towel has docked, the better in my opinion. There’s just something about that desaturated color palette that makes me want to fill my house and closet with it. When it comes to my wardrobe I instantly gravitate towards pieces that mimic a sun bleached feel, quite literally translating to a bit of spilled bleach as of late.

Denim in particular seems to have that 80’s DIY project thing going on this season and I’m kinda of into it—well, in an Ulla Johnson way. That toned down, icy blue has been on my mind since discovering this dress and now it’s all I see—rounded up some of my favorites below. It might be the greatest shade to compliment a tan, I’m working on that one.
