There really isn’t anything sweeter than teensy kiddos running around in crisp whites and seersucker in search of easter eggs. The concentrated drive of the older kids and the easily distracted (and sometimes wobbly) newbies is cute overload in my opinion. I for one have always been a fan of the holiday, it’s right up there with Christmas in my book. My mom knocked the Easter baskets out of the park every year and to this day I can close my eyes and smell the plastic grass, jelly beans and chocolate eggs like it was yesterday. She may have forgotten the hiding spot of an egg or two—not a smell I’d like to remember—so we switched to plastic eggs but to her credit she made it special year after year.
So much so I’ve been giddy about putting together Elin’s basket this year. She’s all about Beatrix Potter books at the moment, which makes this whole bunnies theme ten times more exciting. Here are some fun things I came across while doing some final shopping for her.
