L’Occitane Terre De Lumière

May 26, 2017

I have this secret wish that some day we’ll run off to Provence for the summer, rent a house and pretend to be Parisians for a little while. Just the thought of spending our afternoons eating cheese and discovering little towns while roaming around the French countryside on a perfectly warm evening—maybe with a glass of wine or gelato in hand, yes?—sounds like a dream.

The new L’Occitane Terre De Lumière perfume is a little slice of that fantasy as it has notes of lavender, honey and almond from the South of France. It’s inspired by the magic of the golden hour when everything seems to glow just moments before the sun goes down. I love this scent because it smells warm and earthy, which completely transports me to summer days.

So until I’m actually in Provence living my bucket list dream, a spritz of this amazing perfume will hold me over. And of course an outfit fit for a day in the South of France is an order alongside my new scent.
Wearing an Ulla Johnson dress (similar), Ancient Greek Sandals, straw tote bag, gardening hatI’m a big fan of using perfumed lotion and body wash for a more subtle affect throughout the day. Terre De Lumière lotion and Gentle Shower GelI’ve been a longtime fan of L’Occitane so I also wanted to share with you the products I’ve been using for years…

Thank you to L’Occitane for supporting this post // Photography by Jacqueline Pilar
