There’s this cruel thing that happens every year around this time along the California coast, the old’ marine layer—it’s even got a name, June gloom. We get dense foggy mornings that clear up by the afternoon (if we’re lucky). Instead of breaking out summer dresses and sandals we’re suddenly cozying up in knits and jackets—it’s harsh for me since I love me some sunshine. This past week I’ve been wearing jackets over my tanks and dresses in hopes that the sun might peek through and warm the day up.
Alongside my trusty Anine Bing jacket (this one is from a past season but you can find a similar style here) I’ve been loving the new Coco pumps by The Row. They add just enough fem to my dungarees and leather pieces while being a sweet pairing with breezy dresses. Makes me feel like I need more bows in my life.
