What I Bought: Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

July 28, 2017

Ok, I know I’ve been peppering you with picks and favorites from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale so I promise this is the last one—and also the best. I shared with you the pieces I had my eye on at the starting gates—you can check them out here and here—but I here’s what I ended up investing in for my own wardrobe. I was so excited about my scores that I left the house wearing them on a foggy morning, looking like I was dressed for Fall. I got about 2 hours in before shedding the layers and throwing on a sundress, but I can already tell my finds are going to be staples come September/October.

The first thing I raced to was a pair of flat suede zip boots. I loved the pointy toe shape on this pair (pictured) and how they have a bit of edge with the chunky zip. They’re sliming with leather pants or jeans but could just as easily be worn with a delicate sundress—an easy way to transition into Fall when its still warm. Plus they’re only $105!
Dolce Vita Boots, $105 paired with leather pants (similar and on sale). I’ve been searching for a black cashmere sweater this whole year,  but I’m pretty picky when it comes to length and fit. I can’t stand when my sweaters are too short or baggy in the wrong places. I was so excited when I saw this Vince one and new it was the score of all scores, for me. I’m obsessed with the half sleeve length and extra long slim shape.
Other things I got not pictured here: a fresh pair of Stan Smith sneakersVince Long Cashmere Cardigan, Nordstrom Signature Striped Shirt (which is currently doubling as a swim cover-up) and lastly some Sperry Boots for an upcoming trip this winter.

Shop all the finds I just mentioned here. And don’t forget prices go back up August 7th!
